I was sooo “lucky” lately. My even hit jackpot yesterday…
A random birdie gave me its “best” wishes at that split second I was walking towards central forum. HOW LUCKY COULD ANYONE GET? Right on my feet. WTH.
Now I totally understand how my poor car must have felt last time…

HY said I must go shopping– retail therapy. No way…I had to stick my butt at the library chair no matter what. I did. But I was as productive as yesterday, which was unproductive. So I decided to give myself a boost of life wisdom..and humor. (Who could have thought that Calvin & Hobbes– some kid with an imaginary tigger- has quotes & “wisdoms” as well?)
Life’s disappointments are harder to take when you don’t know any swear words. – Calvin & Hobbes
People think it must be fun to be a super genius, but they don’t realize how hard it is to put up with all the idiots in the world. - Calvin & Hobbes
Sometimes I think the surest sign that intelligent life exists elsewhere in the universe is that none of it has tried to contact u. - Calvin & Hobbes
You can’t just turn on creativity like a faucet. You have to be in the right mood.
-What mood is that?
-Last-minute panic
- Calvin & Hobbes
Life is like topography, Hobbes. There are summits of happiness and success, flat stretches of boring routine, and valleys of frustration and failure. – Calvin & Hobbes

Being a to-be product of NUS, a NUS pharmer does not only need to be as similar as possible to a walking drug dictionary, he/ she is also required to be knowledgeable in other non-pharming fields such as biz/ arts & social sciences/engineering etc through cross-faculty modules – a display of our beloved NUS’s continuing efforts to push their students to greater heights.
The following is some interesting points from the 1st reading in the coursepack of New Media & Society – a level1000 FASS module that the author took out of desperation (when she was outbidded in CORS…& that would be another topic by itself)
real virtuality vs virtual reality…
power of flows vs flows of power…
I guess one really needs to master the art of language to understand the language of art.
